\r\n Criteria and process of enrolment in 1st grade:<\/span> <\/h2>\r\n <\/div>\r\n 1. Please read the important information <\/b>about the process on the following lines. For any additional questions or information, please contact info@global-minded.cz or call +420 605 448 017.\n

\n2. Getting to know the school and the educational concept. <\/b>Before the actual enrolment we conduct an individual meeting with parents. During this meeting we will introduce you to our educational concept, methodology and organization of teaching as well as the overall approach to children and their education. We will also discuss your expectations and your child's perceived educational needs and preferences. It is important for us to understand each other. The meeting will normally take place in person in the school building in the morning with both of the child's legal guardians present. Meetings with parents take place between January and March.\n

3. The admission procedure to the 1st grade of Global Minded Primary School has two parts – a motivational part and a formal part<\/strong><\/p>


Motivational part of enrolment<\/p>


It takes the form of an individual conversation between the child and his\/her future teachers (typically the future class teacher and his\/her tandem colleague – a native English speaker). During the interview with the child, the teachers check the child’s level of school readiness, his\/her level of language proficiency in relation to extended English language learning, expressive skills, sensory perception, graphomotor skills and pre-math ideas.<\/p>

As part of the enrolment process, an APPLICATION FOR ENROLLMENT IN YEAR 1 must be completed. The application can be delivered to the school in the following ways:<\/p>


o By email with a recognised electronic signature or<\/p>


o By 6tazywv data mailbox or<\/p>


o In person at the school building or in the school mailbox; or<\/p>


o By post<\/p>


4. Criteria for admission of pupils to Grade 1:<\/strong><\/p>


– We preferentially accept children who have an older sibling in school, in order to strengthen sibling bonds and to reconcile family and work life of parents. (It is possible to get 3 points for this criterion during the enrolment process.)<\/p>

– In addition, we give priority to children from Global Minded Kindergarten, as they have conceptual and value links with the school, provide children with the same level of individual care and support, and share the same approaches and educational backgrounds.<\/p>


– Legal guardians know and share the vision and values of our school (with which they have previously become familiar) – parents’ sharing of the school’s alternative approach. (1 point may be awarded for this criterion as part of the enrolment process.)<\/p>


Children are admitted in order of points.<\/p>


The capacity of the first year of Global Minded Primary School is 10 children.<\/p>


5. Admission decision<\/strong><\/p>


Accepted applicants will receive a confirmation of acceptance by 30 May 2025 at the latest, followed by the signing of a training contract.<\/p>
