    Our story<\/h4>\r\n

    We are husband and wife, Lucie and Josef Li\u0161ka, and we founded Global Minded together. We wanted our 4 children to have the best conditions for their optimal development and to feel at home at school. We believe we have done it.\nWe put our best into our project. We don't follow templates and do things the way we feel they are right. This is what sets us apart from other schools and it is also the reason we look forward to seeing the children every day.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/li>\r\n

    Every child has a talent<\/h4>\r\n

    And in many areas. It is a pleasure and a daily gift for us to seek, find, and develop them in children together with you. We focus on what children are best at. We direct our energy there, and it subsequently grows and grows stronger. We don't mindlessly try to make up for deficiencies, and we don't penalize children for performance. We work with the mistake and that's how we gain experience. The children consult with the teacher throughout the process.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/li>\r\n

    We stand behind everything we do for our children. With the best of our knowledge, we work daily to be prepared for the future and for the changes that may come unexpectedly. We purposefully expand our children's skill set while always making sure they feel comfortable. It is important to us that children know they are at home here.     We take great care to surround ourselves with strong personalities and people who embody trust, friendliness and openness in our eyes. Our collective stands for diversity, experience and the joy of learning (with). Children are partners with our teachers, and they do not occupy a position of artificial authority.<\/p>

    We surround ourselves with the best that is available in the world market. Intelligent people who hold the same values as ourselves. Second-rate specialists, experts in their field of expertise and our friends – with teaching being a factor, but not the most important one.     We bring colleagues from abroad and sometimes we have up to two years of “courtship”. We pay close attention to all candidates and spend time with them. They talk to us, they go through trial days, psychological tests, and the children have their say on whether they stay with us. We ask them for their opinion and how they find working with each of the teachers during class.<\/p>

    We don’t just recruit on the basis of advertisements. We have our own methods to monitor the market. We look for places where we can meet specific people we are interested in and whose work we have been following for a long time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    • From the first grade onwards, we teach in two languages. In the second grade, we add teaching in a third language.<\/li>
    • We choose our teachers carefully. They have to go through several rigorous rounds of selection, psychological tests and trial teaching of children.<\/li>
    • Each teacher knows each child and their needs, talents and developmental areas.<\/li>
    • The school has a family atmosphere, everyone knows each other and the children have friends across the grades. Parents can contact the teachers or office at any time with questions and requests.<\/li><\/ul> <\/div>\r\n
