Who are we?

We are a private Czech-English primary school based in Prague 6 and have been for more than 6 years. But there are more than 6 of us and we are continuously welcoming new colleagues to our ranks. The current ones say we’re a non-teacher looking school. We pride ourselves on having people who are educated, knowledgeable and original. We surround ourselves with people with intelligence, talent, joie de vivre and overlap on multiple levels. People who know what they want and are passionate about helping our kids find their way. What do we offer you?

• We can adapt the terms of cooperation to your needs to the satisfaction of you, us, and of course the children and parents.
• Our class teacher earns on average 45-50 000 CZK net per month.
• You can use a company car, a laptop, or have a place in our bilingual kindergarten for your own child.
• We always have good coffee, tea, and delicious chocolate available for you. 😊
• We like to work with our people so that they are happy, know they are important to us and the children, and move forward on a personal and professional level. Now, about the organization…

• We always teach from 8:30 to 14:30. The class teacher is in our school 3 days a week in the classroom and 2 days preparing for the lessons. The tandem teacher supports the children on a daily basis.
• The bell has rung. We work in integrated blocks, moving from activity to activity and subject to subject. So the subjects are intertwined. You have the time and capacity to do the important things. Whether it’s finishing ideas and projects or completing logical units.
• The classroom teacher always forms a mini team with the tandem teacher, while collaborating and communicating closely with a native English speaker.
• The latter teaches some subjects on days when the teacher is not teaching. Therefore, open cooperation, fine-tuned interplay and also a good knowledge of English are essential.
• We apply self-assessment and verbal evaluation of the children.
• Leave all the organisation to us. You don’t have to explain, justify or convince anyone about your work. You have our unwavering and constant support in communicating with parents.

… and our tools

• We have managed online learning in MS Teams and continue to work with them in face-to-face and hybrid learning.
• We use EduPage as the school’s communication and reporting system with families.
• We also run various educational programs for children on school iPads. Of course, in moderation. After all, we prefer to be here and now.

Get back to us. Anytime, even during the school year. Send your resume to bestteachers@global-minded.cz and if we like it, we’ll be happy to hear from you. You’ll have one or two trial days, after which we’ll talk together to see if you’d be comfortable in our classroom and our setup. We’ll talk about what it was like and give you feedback from colleagues and children. A psychological test is also included. Again, you’ll get personal feedback based on this, regardless of whether we continue together or not. It is important for us to know why and how you make your decision. The interaction is transparent and we are always very open. We pride ourselves on that. We create superior and fair conditions that are not available anywhere else in the market.
